Physical & Chemical Properties

Insoluble in water, soluble in acids (releasing CO₂). Relative density: GCC 2.6-2.8 g/cm³, PCC 2.4-2.6 g/cm³. Decomposes to CaO and CO₂ at 825°C.

Main Applications

Plastics / Rubber : Filler improves dimensional stability, rigidity and heat resistance; reduces production cost.Paints / Coatings : Extender pigment increases film thickness, hiding power and weather resistance.Paper Industry : Filler and coating pigment improves brightness, opacity and printability.Building Materials : Used in artificial stone, putty, adhesives, sealants, gypsum boards, etc.Feed : Calcium supplement promotes bone growth and eggshell formation in livestock.Food : Nutrient fortifier (calcium source), anticaking agent, acidity regulator; used in flour, bakery, beverages, calcium tablets, etc.Pharmaceutical : Antacid tablet excipient; raw material for calcium supplements.Environmental : Flue gas desulfurization, neutralization of acidic wastewater.

Packaging

25 kg/bag (PP woven bag with PE liner, paper-plastic composite bag or kraft paper bag), 500 kg/1000 kg jumbo bag; custom packaging available upon request.

Storage Condition

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, protected from moisture; avoid mixing with acids.

Transportation Requirements

Not dangerous goods; transport as general cargo. Protect from moisture and rain; handle gently.
