Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) is a transparent, oily liquid with a slight odor. It is a high-performance, general-purpose primary plasticizer. It has excellent compatibility with PVC and will not precipitate even when used in large quantities. Its volatility, migration, and non-toxicity are superior to those of DOP, and it can impart excellent chemical resistance to products with light, heat, and aging resistance, as well as electrical insulation properties. Its overall performance is superior to that of DOP. Products made with diisononyl phthalate are resistant to water and extraction, have low toxicity, are resistant to aging, and have excellent electrical insulation properties. Therefore, they are widely used in various soft and hard plastic products, toy films, wires, and cables.
