1.Diphenylguanidine is mainly used as a medium-speed accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It is commonly used as an activator for thiazole, thiuram and hypoiodite accelerators. When used in combination with accelerators DM and TMTD, it can be applied in continuous vulcanization. When used as a secondary accelerator for thiazole accelerators, the aging resistance of vulcanized rubber decreases, so an appropriate antioxidant must be added. In neoprene, this product has the functions of a plasticizer and a peptizer. It is not suitable for white or light-colored products and rubber products that come into contact with food (Chemicalbook). It is mainly used in the production of tires, rubber sheets, shoe soles, industrial products, hard rubber and thick-walled products. The dosage is 1-2 parts when used as a secondary accelerator, and generally 0.1-0.5 parts when used as a secondary accelerator for thiazole accelerators. Chromium casein diphenylguanidine, a derivative of diphenylguanidine, is a high-efficiency rust inhibitor. Diphenylguanidine is also used as a plastic cross-linking agent, temperature-indicating material, auxiliary for ore flotation, coating auxiliary, polishing material auxiliary, metal analysis reagent and auxiliary for building materials.
2.It is used as a medium-speed accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and also as an activator for thiazole, thiuram and sulfenamide accelerators. It has the functions of a plasticizer and a peptizer in neoprene. It is mainly used in the production of rubber products such as tires, rubber sheets and shoe soles.
3.It is a primary standard substance for acid standardization. It is also used as a rubber vulcanization accelerator and an extractant for petroleum separation.
