It is mainly used in dry batteries, storage batteries, ammonium salts, tanning, electroplating, pharmaceuticals, photography, electrodes, adhesives, etc. Ammonium chloride is also a quick-acting nitrogen chemical fertilizer with a nitrogen content of 24% to 25%, belonging to a physiologically acidic fertilizer. It is suitable for crops such as wheat, rice, corn, and rapeseed, and especially has the effect of enhancing fiber toughness and tensile strength and improving quality for cotton and hemp crops. However, due to the nature of ammonium chloride and improper application, it often brings some adverse effects to the soil and crops.
